At Fogbeam Labs we are on a mission. We aren't just out to reinvent enterprise software, we're out to reinvent the enterprise itself. Technology
Our approach to providing technological tooling to support information retrieval, knowledge management and collaboration utilizes a radical combination of machine learning, social network analysis, collaborative filtering and semantic web technologies. Our open source knowledge management, information discovery, and enterprise search tools are built on a stack that starts with the Java Virtual Machine and includes code from a number of Apache Software Foundation projects, as well as code written by Fogbeam Labs. All of our code is Open Source, mostly under the Apache Software License v2.
Our products emphasize compatiblity with open standards and the ability to integrate both with each other, and with your existing information systems. Our approach is based on integrating the entire enteprise and providing insight into the stream of business events, and the body of knowledge embedded in an organizations documents, people and applications. To this end, we rely on protocols such as RSS, Atom, JMS, AtomPub, CMIS, JCR, ActivityStrea.ms, RDF, OWL, and FOAF. Our vision of fully bring the Semantic Web into the enterprise serves as a foundation for a completely connected and integrated enterprise which can fully realize the ideal of a Digital Nervous System.
